Laptop died and within an hour of my request for help, Tony outlined a plan of action and just half an hour later he’d been round and collected my computer to run a diagnostic check. Owing to the bizarre design of my Dell (hard drive soldered directly to the motherboard) and Tony’s best efforts to create a workaround, it was irreparable. However, amazingly, Tony managed to retrieve all my data! He offered to drop my desktop and files onto one of his spare laptops and dropped it off (on Saturday) so I could continue working until a replacement laptop could be sourced. He gave me recommendations (with replaceable hard drives!) and eventually he moved all my data onto my new computer. It was without doubt the most efficient, effective and helpful professional service I’ve ever had. Tony went above and beyond to ensure my issue was resolved quickly and with the minimum of drama. He’s a really nice friendly guy too. Rest assured, if you have a problem with your computer, you won’t find anyone better to fix it. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from Tony. He was professional, knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the repair process. His diagnostics were thorough, he explained everything clearly, and it was obvious he genuinely cared about finding the correct faults rather than simply replacing parts unnecessarily. Highly recommended.

Tech support for home & home office

If you work from home, or just need your computer to work reliably for everyday use, I can help. Most home tech problems are straightforward once properly diagnosed — slow computers, email issues, printer headaches, Windows problems, new device setup.

I’ll fix it remotely where that’s the quickest option, or visit your home in Cheadle or surrounding areas if hands-on access is needed. No shop queues, no posting your machine anywhere, no talking to a call centre.

Tech support for small business

For small businesses in Cheadle and across SK8, computer problems mean lost time and lost money. I prioritise business-critical faults and give you a straight answer on what needs doing and how quickly it can be resolved.

No contracts, no retainers, no lock-in. You call when you need me, I fix it, that’s it. If you want to discuss an ongoing support arrangement, I’m happy to talk — but there’s no pressure.

Remote tech support — sorted without a visit

For many software problems, email issues, Windows faults and account lockouts, I can connect to your computer remotely and fix the problem while you watch — no need for a visit, no need to disconnect and transport your machine.

Remote support is secure, fast, and often the quickest way to get things working again. I’ll tell you honestly whether your problem suits remote support or needs hands-on access.

  • Secure remote connection — you stay in control throughout
  • No callout charge for remote fixes
  • Available to customers across Cheadle, SK8 and beyond
  • Same fixed-price quote process — agreed before work starts

Frequently asked questions — tech support Cheadle

How much does tech support cost in Cheadle?

Cost depends on the problem and how long it takes to resolve. I give you a fixed-price quote before any chargeable work starts — no surprises on the bill. Remote support is often cheaper than an on-site visit for software issues.

Can you fix my computer without me bringing it in?

In many cases, yes. Software problems, email issues, Windows faults and account problems can often be resolved remotely. I’ll tell you honestly whether your issue suits remote support or needs the machine in my workshop.

Do you support Macs as well as Windows?

Yes. I work on Windows PCs, laptops and Apple Macs. Let me know the make, model and what it’s doing when you get in touch.

Do you offer ongoing support for small businesses?

Yes, and no contracts required. Many of my small business customers just call when something needs fixing. If you want to discuss a more regular arrangement, I’m happy to talk — but there’s no pressure and no lock-in.

How quickly can you help?

Remote support can often be arranged the same day. On-site visits and workshop repairs depend on availability — call and I’ll give you a straight answer on timing.

Do you cover Cheadle as well as Cheadle Hulme?

Yes. My workshop is in Cheadle Hulme but I regularly cover Cheadle, Gatley, Bramhall, Stockport and surrounding areas. Remote support is available everywhere.
